Day 5 – National Museum and War Memorial Museum

Today we had alot of fun finishing off at the Museum and War Museum!

we first started off the day as having breakkie, getting changed and setting off to to the National Museum of Australia to finish off what we didn’t have time to do last time. We saw the Aboriginal clothing and life section. It was very amazing of what they did to survive and eat!

We soon left there and headed off to the War Memorial Museum.
There were soooooooooooooooooooooo many things to look at I didn’t know where to start looking at! there were, boots, hats, shirts, clothes, pants, sticks, guns, string, boats, torches, chests, desks, swords, bullets, mini guns, food, pockets, toothbrushes, more boats, flags, videos, sculptures, cannons, pictures, bombs and everythig you could imagine! SOO much stuff! there was world war 1 and world war 2! even more to look at then….

that was our VERY interesting day today, if you want to see more posts liek this scroll down on the blog to find out more.

Hiya Mazzy and Jimi, (and mum and dad)
It sounded fantastic at the War Museum and I’m very impressed you remembered all the things you did Mazzy. Wow so many things to see -and it would have been quite sad too because it was about the wars – but really important aswell so that you know why we remember the 2 wars. Anyway it would ahve been great seeing the National Museum too – another amazing place to visit and see so much. What did Jimi think of the Deep Space Centre – was he very very impressed ?? It all sounds wonderful and is Daddy enjoying seeing so many things too? For now I hope you enjoy everything else you see too.. big hugs and loads of love Granny & Poppsy xxxx
Do keep writing this wonderful journal blog it is so interesting Maz… I love hearing about it all xxxx
