We went up the Murray river, with our friends Brad, Tania, Phoebe, Banjo and Ted. These are our pictures and videos. Everyone had a great time.

Our friends Sam and Will also came on the 1st day and left in the afternoon.

we also went on a thing the boat pulls along called the “biscuit”.

Most of the time Brad would drive the boat.

After a pretty horrible 20 hours of traveling we are now all together in beautiful Bali!!! It’s absolutely amazing and the Balinese people are beautiful! Yes

Hooray!!!

I have the boarding pass and I’m finally on my way. Just waiting to board… at 2am in the morning.

I’ve got a seat on a flight to Bali! Garuda Airlines flight GA897. Will be leaving at 2:30am and hopefully arriving around 8:30am Bali time. Now if they can just fine my suitcase….

Our flights were delayed in Shanghai so approx 4 hours late. Nic managed to get her flight to Hong Kong so she’s all sorted! But I have arrived very late in Guangzhou… and have missed my connecting flight to Bali. Just in a queue…

I’ll keep you all posted…

We’ve had a few busy days with lots of government meetings and briefings. So no photos of that! So here a few more pics from random moments around Shanghai…

A simple lunch, cos you know, food!

Another lunch, this time a typical Shanghaiese meal. The dish bottom left is a steaming basket full of the local yabbie style of shellfish, and you use the plastic gloves in the centre of the table to peel them and keep your hands clean!
